Ontario SPCA Endowment Funds help ensure the Ontario SPCA exists to protect and care for future generations of animals. A gift into one of the Ontario SPCA Endowment Funds is a gift that keeps on giving, since the original funds that you donate are permanently invested and only the income is used to help the animals you love.
Endowment Fund benefits:
- Your gift will save tax,
- Your gift will assist the Ontario SPCA with long-range planning,
- Your can honour your family, a special person, or a pet that you love, with a personally Named Endowment Fund, and
- You can support a specific purpose that is close to your heart by directing your gift into an Ontario SPCA designated fund, including:
Animal Care and Protection Fund. This fund provides protection, shelter and care to abused, neglected and abandoned animals. It helps to rescue animals in distress and prosecute animal abusers by supporting animal cruelty investigations.
Humane Education and Violence Prevention Fund. This fund prevents animal cruelty through community outreach programs, education literature and awareness campaigns. Its goal is to create compassion for all living things and reduce violence in our communities.
Regional Endowment Funds. This fund will support your local branch of the Ontario SPCA.
Named Endowment Funds. You can honour a loved one, a beloved pet or your family name with a Named Endowment Fund. Your named fund will permanently support animals in need and your loved ones will never be forgotten.
