One of the Society's most important functions is providing temporary shelter to abused, abandoned and neglected pets. Each year tens of thousands of companion animals rely on Ontario SPCA Branches, affiliated Humane Societies, and a network of compassionate staff and volunteers, to provide care, comfort and a second chance.
Indeed, adopting an animal is one of the most thoughtful decisions anyone can make. It is an opportunity to give rescued, homeless animals a second chance while adding an immense source of love and happiness to your life. Below you can search for adoptable animals, read animal care and training fact sheets, enjoy inspiring adoption stories, search for adoptable animals at your local Ontario SPCA Branch or affiliated Humane Society, review adoption and animal behaviour tips and more.
