Ontario SPCA investigation of the Toronto Humane Society ACRB Hearing

Newmarket, ON (September 23, 2009) - The Ontario SPCA and the Toronto Humane Society attended an Animal Care Review Board of Ontario (ACRB) hearing yesterday and due to the change in legal representation at the Ontario SPCA and scheduling conflicts with both parties, the hearing has been rescheduled to October 26 – 30, 2009.

The Ontario SPCA has retained the services of Ruby & Shiller Barristers of Toronto, Ontario. The Ontario SPCA is not able to comment on the investigation, as the investigation of the Toronto Humane Society, due to allegations of animal cruelty, is ongoing.
